The afoundation is the founder of the Liverpool Biennial of the Contemporary Art. We are also the initiator of the Independent section, the largest strand of the Biennial. It may seem strange that Britain's biggest and most prestigious art event is held in Liverpool. To us it made perfect sense. Welcome to Independents 02
